Daytona Beach is a popular vacation destination, famous for its 23 miles of pristine beaches, but there is another reason the Daytona Beach community is so beloved. Daytona Beach offers some of the greatest events and entertainment around!

First off, we have to give a great big shout out to the world famous Daytona International Speedway. Daytona Beach is host to the infamous Daytona 500 every February; the newly opened entertainment center right across the street – One Daytona – offers up live music every week; and – if we’re talking great music – the oceanfront comes alive with concerts at the iconic Bandshell every Friday and Saturday night from May through September.

In March, it is time for Bike Week, one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the nation, drawing approximately 125,000 motorcyclists every year and offering live music and tons of cool vendors and entertainment. Then, don’t miss the Daytona Blues Festival in May – a three-day, toe-tapping event that is fun for the entire family and draws thousands of spectators!

Known as the Festival Capital of Florida, Daytona Beach holds an annual Celtic Festival with Highland games, Irish dancing, and the soulful sound of bagpipes. Daytona’s Fiesta Italiana is bursting at its seams with delicious foods indigenous to Italy. Soak up Greek culture and tradition at the Daytona Beach Greek Festival. Then, in early November, the Halifax Art Festival – the second oldest continual art festival in Florida – features hundreds of artisans from across the country. 

The holidays also offer fun times for all! On Thanksgiving weekend, Daytona Beach hosts the largest classic car show and swap meet in the United States – the Turkey Run. Then, eat fresh seafood, shop in beachside shops and enjoy Christmas like you never have before. The palm trees will sport thousands of sparkling Christmas lights and the storefronts will be beautifully decorated for the season. Daytona International Speedway transforms into “the Magical Lights of Daytona” display and Stetson Mansion holds a spectacular holiday home tour. Finally, ring in the New Year with an extravagant New Year’s Eve party on Main Street, followed by a dazzling fireworks show.
